Hardware distributor VBH (GB) has announced that stocks of Spilka hardware have been dramatically increased at its distribution centre in Kent.
The Spilka range consists primarily of reversible hinge systems for timber windows. These include the Classic ‘H-Window’ and Opus top turn systems, and the side hung Swing product. There is also a comprehensive selection of ventilators and shootbolt locking systems for timber.
The company advises that interest in Spilka’s Scandinavian style products is increasing markedly, as timber window manufacturers seek to differentiate themselves in the market by offering windows with more features and functionality.
VBH Marketing Manager Gary Gleeson states ‘VBH has been the UK stockist of Spilka hardware since 2006 and we have been gradually ramping up our stocks since then. The new stocking agreement means that we can react even quicker to orders for Spilka products for use on large or small installations using Opus, Swing or the ever-popular Classic hinges.’
The arrival of additional stock will also help ensure that individual parts are readily available to service companies for remedial work.
