UPVC remains one of the most common materials in the UK housing stock — and one of the most frequent sources of failure.

The UPVC Slotting Kit takes things further. Built around a “Backtrack” method, it is designed for mechanisms that simply will not release — ideal for shootbolt-only systems, rusted failures or smaller windows where conventional access isn’t possible. By accessing the back of the sash through panel or unit removal, the process remains controlled rather than chaotic.
Meanwhile, the Tilt & Turn Kit continues the expansion of window-focused solutions, addressing one of the more technically awkward modern systems. Instead of improvising with generic tools, locksmiths now have a purpose-built method.
Across all three, one detail stands out: the introduction of the new Magi-Blade®. Featured within the UPVC ‘No Cam’ system, it is engineered specifically to cut hooks or bolts cleanly where release cannot be achieved — turning what was once destructive entry into controlled intervention.

Souber’s 2025 composite systems recognise that reality
The Composite Door Hinge Resetting Kit addresses a common but often overlooked issue: hinge movement. When hinges such as the Trojan Athena 3D hinge shift, doors begin binding on the frame or floor — often leading to eventual multi-point failure. Resetting the hinge in minutes can prevent a far larger repair later. No more awkward air bags and constant readjustment to achieve the perfect reset.
For full lock failures, the Composite Door Inside and Outside Systems provide structured methods of access depending on door configuration. Hands-free spreaders create controlled gaps; protectors preserve the frame. The new Magi-Blade® enables precise cutting of hooks or bolts, enabling access and the replacement of the failed mechanisms.
