We’re excited to introduce a fantastic addition to our website: the all-new 14-in-1 Adapter Kit from Godiag. This is one of the first Godiag product we’ve welcomed, and it certainly meets our expectations. Designed specifically for professional automotive locksmiths, this versatile adapter set works with:
- BMW BDC2/3 & BCP
- VW/Audi 5C/5D keys
- Porsche keys
- Rolls-Royce encrypted keys
Why Choose the Godiag Adapter Kit?
One of the standout features of this adapter kit is its ability to read and write both standard and encrypted keys, making it a must-have for locksmiths. Additionally, it’s compatible with a wide range of programming tools, not limited to a single brand. You can seamlessly integrate it with tools such as the Xhorse Key Tool Plus (XHH16), Autel Programmers utilising the XP400, KD-MAX (DIYH4), and KYDZ, allowing greater flexibility and efficiency in your key programming tasks.
Important Considerations:
While the Godiag Adapter Kit enhances your locksmithing capabilities, it’s important to be mindful that some functions may require software support, valid authorisations, online calculations, or specific operational procedures. For tasks involving encrypted keys, manual wiring may be necessary with the DIY quick connector. We recommend confirming the key type and following your tooling’s instructions before starting any process.
Supported Key Types include:
- BMW BDC2 / BDC3 LCD keys
- BMW BDC2 / BDC3 knife-style rectangular chip keys
- BMW U-Chassis / BCP U keys
- VW 5C / 5D keys
- Audi A3 5D / New Audi 5D keys
- Porsche keys
- Rolls-Royce encrypted keys
The GODIAG BCP U KEY BDC2/BDC3 14-in-1 Adapter Kit is an excellent choice for automotive locksmiths looking to enhance their skills and streamline their workflow. Its broad compatibility and advanced features make it a valuable addition to any key programming toolkit. Whether you’re working with complex encrypted keys or standard ones, this kit simplifies the process and boosts efficiency. Its compact design and versatility mean you won’t need to keep purchasing additional adapters, helping you save money and time.
A Step-By-Step Demonstration
In this demonstration, we’ll be using the GODIAG BCP U KEY BDC2/BDC3 14-in-1 Adapter Kit to read a VAG 5D key fitted with a white conductor.
Step 1: Identify the Correct Adapter
Locate the red-coloured adapter, clearly labelled for easy identification.
Step 2: Connect the Components
- Take the 5D white inductor clamp and carefully align the contact points with the adapter.
- Ensure the contact pins line up correctly before securing the clamp. The clamp is designed to fit in one orientation only, so do not force it if it doesn’t seat correctly.
Step 3: Connect to the Programmer
With the clamp securely fitted, connect the assembly to your key programming tool using the DB15 port. Once connected, you’re ready to communicate with the key.
Step 4: Access the Key Reading Function
On the programming tool:
- Open IMMO Programming.
- Select Programming.
- Choose MQB49/5D (De-assemble).
- Select Read Key Data.
Step 5: Read the Key
- When prompted, ensure the key is correctly positioned in the clamp.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, then press Continue.
- The programmer will begin reading the key data. Once the process is complete, save the key data when prompted.
Step 6: Generate new Dealer key
We can now generate a new key. Place the new circuit board into the clamp and select Write.
Step 7: Your key is set up and ready for you to assemble.
Once written successfully, place the key in its case and program it to the vehicle following the on-screen procedure from the programmer.
Step 8: Completed Key
Your key is now complete, programmed to the vehicle, and ready for use!
