New Training Course From Nsi

NSI kicked off the New Year with the introduction of a new training course to help electronic security installers carry out risk assessments to enable effective design and correct grading of an intruder alarm system.

The new course will help installers satisfy the requirements of end users and insurers whilst meeting the relevant standards (PD 6662: 2010 and BS 8243).

Engineering personnel may also benefit from attending, if their role includes advising end users of changes to building design, layout or usage which may affect the level of protection provided by an existing intruder alarm system.

The training course entitled: “Risk Assessment (overview of PD 6662:2010 +A1:2009 with BS 8243) including System Design Awareness and Grading” will be taking place at NSI headquarters in Maidenhead on Tuesday 12 February and Wednesday 27 March 2013.
