A1 Seecure has been a long-time customer of DOM UK and continually works with the DOM Team to specify high-quality, mechanical locking systems to their customers. We spoke with Director Russell Golby and Director and inventor of Adaptalock universal multipoint system Roland Golby regarding A1 Seecure’s long history of working with DOM and the future of the two companies.
How long have you been working with DOM UK?
“We have been working with DOM UK for over 10 Years.”
Who is your DOM UK contact and how long have you been working with them?
“We had previously worked with DOM Sales & Marketing Director Lloyd Chitty in a previous business relationship so carried that on when he joined DOM UK. National Sales Manager Owen Boothby has been our contact for the last 5 years; he regularly visits the shop and is available at the end of the phone should we need any assistance with products or specifications.”
How do you find dealing with DOM UK customer services?
“Customer Services Team Leader Emma Chapman has been our office contact for many years. Emma is incredibly helpful with anything that we require, from placing orders to tracking deliveries. Much like Owen, Emma and the team are only a call away should we require assistance.”
What DOM products do you use and why?
“We use mainly mechanical products from DOM, in the form of Masterkey Systems. Specifically, we use Titan, and Sigma Plus for systems with more complex, higher security requirements. We use the Sigma Plus, as it is an ideal entry level secure cylinder dealer profile which makes it almost impossible for an unauthorised person to gain access via common forms of attack such as drilling, bumping, and picking.”
“We are currently looking to start cutting DOM ix Teco Keys, so we can offer another high security, reversible key system to our customers.”
What sectors do you supply with DOM UK systems?
“Over two thirds of the DOM products that we specify are used on commercial projects such as offices, hospitals, schools and universities.”
Are there any projects that you are looking to supply DOM products on over the next 12 months?
“We are currently installing a large ix Teco Masterkey system at the headquarters of a large multi-national organisation. This site will feature more additions as various stages of the project are completed.”
Do you use DOM ENET?
“We don’t currently use DOM ENET but look forward to training with Owen Boothy so we can order DOM product with complete flexibility.”
