The new design marks a significant step forward in the evolution of ASSA ABLOY’s comprehensive door control portfolio, while still retaining the same levels of quality, durability and innovation that installers have come to expect from the company’s door closer offering.
The new, modern look extends across ASSA ABLOY’s extensive range including rack and pinion, as well as the higher specification cam door closers, which includes features such as Cam-Motion® technology, enabling smooth and secure door opening and closing.
More advanced features available include Close-Motion® technology, which is specifically designed to close doors quietly. Free-Motion® allows doors to swing freely from an opening angle of 0 degrees, which is ideal for areas where increased accessibility is required.
The world’s first security door closer is also available, featuring the innovative combination of Close-Motion® technology and an escape door strike all in one. ASSA ABLOY are proud to offer a truly divers product range which meet a wide range of end user needs in many different environments.
For installers, the products remain as versatile as ever, with well-designed installation features and fitting options. Flexible height adjustment and non-handed features enable quick and easy installation, while reducing stock requirements. The new designs have minimal impact on the overall footprint and there are no changes to the fixing positions.
Products from the ASSA ABLOY door closer range meet the requirements of the recently updated BS 8300 standard for low opening forces, CE Marked and comply with relevant fire regulations. Popular models used in trade and commercial environments are also Certifire approved, for further reassurance of performance.
