You learn something new everyday…

With registration for Lockex 2018 – Security & Fire Safety now officially open, the event’s organisers (the same team behind the country’s industry-leading magazine The Locksmith Journal) have started to reveal some of the fantastic things visitors can expect to see next June.

If you were one of the 1,700 people that came to Lockex 2016 – the first ever Lockex, held last September – you may think you already know what’s in store from the second show. In fact the only thing you can be sure of is that Lockex 2018 – Security & Fire Safety will be even bigger and even better than ever before.

Take a look at the official Lockex 2016 review video right here:

Lockex 2018 will be BIGGER

Building on the success of the event in 2016, the Lockex organisers have expanded the scope of show to include extra exhibitors from the world of security and fire safety, without any compromise whatsoever to the locksmith and auto locksmith displays and demonstrations. This means that for building specifiers, architects, planners, and designers, just one weekend could be all it takes to get up to speed with the latest information and innovations from across the industry.

Whilst Lockex 2016 saw over 80 locksmith and auto locksmith exhibitors from all over the world, plus 68 free workshops from some of the most highly-skilled and well-known names in the industry, the next event – held on the 8th, 9th and 10th June  – includes a brand new ‘Pavilion of Trade Bodies’ plus a reimagined workshop space right in the heart of the Ricoh Arena, with eight demo zones, and staging for the official key note speaker Neil Vann.

Lockex 2018 will be BETTER

Organisations such as the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI), Institute of Architectural Ironmongers (IAI), Security System and Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB), Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) and UK Construction Week have already secured their spots in the show’s new 72-square metre ‘Pavilion of Trade Bodies’. Representatives from all regions will be on hand to discuss the latest certifications across the board, plus there will be CPD points on offer and exclusive expert revision sessions and master-classes for visitors about to sit their summer exams.

Furthermore by moving the workshop area right into the centre of the arena, visitors won’t have to miss a moment of the show by walking out of the exhibition area to attend their free seminars. All of this and more still comes part and parcel with your all-inclusive entrance tickets that gets you free parking, free meal tickets and as many free workshops – across any field – that you can fit into your schedule.
