VUpoint, the company’s revolutionary live video verification solution, won the hotly contested Software Product of the Year Award, beating off stiff competition from a number of rival vendors.
The PSI Premier Awards highlight the very best in innovation and readers are asked to nominate products and services that are worthy of recognition as the best that the industry has to offer. Features, benefits, ease of installation and support are all reasons why entries are nominated, and winners were decided through over 3,000 online reader votes. This year’s event was by BBC rugby commentator, Ian Robertson, and was attended by individuals representing all areas of the security sector.
RISCO Group’s success makes it a trio of triumphs at the PSI Premier Awards. Last year it was awarded Intruder Product of the Year for its smart wireless security and safety system, Agility™3. smart phone app. In addition, video clips can be activated in response to a wide range of triggers – detector alarm event, panic alarm, or system disarm by code – providing unparalleled peace of mind for end users, and enabling monitoring centres to simply verify false alarms, saving on unnecessary visits to a premises and wasted resources.
VUpoint will also be integrated into RISCO Group’s soon to be launched range of SmartHome products, as well as its ProSYS Plus G3 panel, which offers single hardware platform with a unique licensing mechanism – allowing virtually unlimited scalability for any size of installation up to 512 zones.
