Achieving Dynamic Lockdown with Abloy UK at IFSEC 2017

ASSA ABLOY Security Doors’ high security steel doorsets have been designed and installed in The Place, the newest building making up the regeneration of London Bridge Quarter.

Security expert Abloy UK is inviting visitors to IFSEC 2017 to view its range of compliant locking solutions that help achieve dynamic lockdown, and attend its seminar on using innovation and technology for mitigating risk.

Held on 20 – 22 June 2017 at ExCeL London, IFSEC International is Europe’s largest security exhibition. Abloy takes up residence in a new section of the show this year, positioned on stand C1560 in the Borders & Infrastructure area of the exhibition.

Steve Wintle, Head of CNI at Abloy UK, said: “With such an industry focus on cyber security risks, there is often the potential to overlook, or underestimate elements of physical security. However the ability to be able to lockdown a building in the event of an emergency such as a terror attack is crucial.

“We want to get face-to-face with visitors at IFSEC to discuss the bespoke solutions we can provide to organisations looking for a compliant patented access control system – no matter what the requirements.”

Steve will be hosting the seminar at the Borders & Infrastructure theatre on Wednesday 21st June between 14.20 – 15.10.

Abloy offers solutions for a number of sectors including Energy, Transport, Airports, Ports, Communications, Banking and Finance & Critical National Infrastructure.

Abloy UK’s complete, compliant locking solutions adhere to the current British Standards, including EN13637 Building Hardware (electrically controlled exit systems for use on escape routes); EN179 Emergency Escape (for when the building occupants are aware of the building environment); and EN1125 Panic Escape (for environments used by the general public).

Products in the Abloy range include Padlocks, Strikes and Electric Locking, alongside Mechanical and Electromechanical systems.

Popular systems include Electric locks, such as the Abloy EL560 solenoid lock and EL520 motorised lock, and Super Weatherproof Padlocks. Abloy also offers the Traka21 standalone key management system, and the Smartair access control solution.

In addition to this, the PROTEC2 CLIQ web-based system from Abloy has been a huge success in a number of sectors, allowing for the integration of a mechanical master key system with electronics that require no external power source, providing precise and cost effective control over access permissions.
